Colombia Bochica is sourced from smallholder farmers in Colombia’s prestigious coffee-growing regions, including Huila, Cauca, Nariño, and Tolima. These producers are part of cooperatives and associations dedicated to traceability, quality, and sustainability.
The coffee undergoes the traditional fully washed method:
• Ripe cherries are selectively handpicked and pulped on the farm.
• They are then fermented in tanks for 26 to 36 hours.
• After fermentation, the parchment is washed with clean water and dried on parabolic beds for up to 20 days.
The result is a clean, balanced cup featuring:
• A round body
• Bright acidity
• Chocolate sweetness
• Fruit-forward notes
Close collaboration throughout the supply chain ensures consistency across harvests while supporting farmer livelihoods and community initiatives, such as clean water projects.
This coffee opens with hints of ripe stone fruit, honey, and turbinado sugar at lighter roasts—silky, juicy, and clean, reminiscent of fresh nectarine. As it transitions to medium roast, the fruit flavors deepen, and the sweetness becomes richer, featuring notes of brown sugar, candied orange peel, and chocolate wafer.
Medium-dark roasts reveal flavors of grilled nectarine, chocolate truffle, and toffee, with a denser, more syrupy body. At dark roast, it leans into bittersweet chocolate, molasses, and brown sugar, finishing bold and sweet.
This is a well-balanced, consistent coffee—perfect for both espresso and easy-drinking drip coffee.
